EECP treatment for heart
During an EECP session, the patient lies on a treatment table while inflatable cuffs are secured around the calves, thighs, and lower hips. These cuffs inflate and deflate in synchronization with the heart's rhythm, applying pressure that enhances blood circulation back to the heart. This mechanism can promote the development of new blood vessels (collateral circulation), improving oxygen delivery to the heart muscle and reducing the workload on the heart.
